As if you needed another poll, Feingold still losing
The McClatchy-Marist Poll falls in line with the other polling in the US Senate Race:
Republican Ron Johnson leads incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold in the race for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin by 7 percentage points among likely voters including early voters and those who are undecided yet leaning toward a candidate, according to this McClatchy-Marist Poll. This data was collected from Tuesday, October 26, 2010 through Thursday, October 28, 2010, five days from Election Day.
Some data of interest, 31% of those polled and 23% of the likely voters polled were cell phone users. Of the cell phone users, 62% were for Ron Johnson. So much for undercounting Democratic voters who use cell phones.
How successful was Feingold’s appeal to the Tea Party movement? Feingold is getting 5% support, equal to the amount of support Ron Johnson is getting from self-described Democrats.
