Because it isn’t Waukesha unless it’s unnavigable

More bad construction news for Waukesha residents. This from today’s Waukesha Freeman:

The intersection of Barstow Street and College Avenue will soon be closed for the construction of Carroll University’s new science building.

With the building site being close to the public right-of-way, the closure will accommodate construction activity for the next three months.

The intersection closure will begin as soon as a ADA compliant temporary crosswalk is installed on Barstow Street. It is expected to remain closed until Oct. 1.

For those of you unfamiliar with the intersection, it’s directly on my route to Sunday brunch at La Estacion. And because East Avenue will not be closed no bank robbers will be inconvenienced.
