Because no election in Waukesha is ever easy

Somebody stop Adam Neylon from measuring the drapes in his new office. The election in the 98th Assembly district ain’t over yet. As Darryl Enriquez writes in this morning’s Waukesha Freeman, 162 absentee ballots haven’t been returned. That’s not enough to help Jeanne Tarantino, but it could be enough to put Pewaukee Police Chief Ed Baumann past Neylon. The unofficial election night returns showed Neylon winning by 30 votes.

When the pony express didn’t run on Monday some of the absentee ballots were possibly delayed. Now we get to wait for the mail bag to arrive.
