Congratulations to Waukesha Cub Scout Pack 9

At the 49th Annual city of Waukesha Christmas parade, the float built by Cub Scut Pack 9 won first place in the Community Groups category. The “Candy Tron 2000” spit fire, smoked, shot confetti, and produced peppermint candy for the scouts to hand to the crowd.

Congratulations to the scouts and parents of Pack 9!

The Christmas parade floats for Pack 9 just keep getting better and better.

The winning parade float waiting for the Christmas parade to start. On top of the Cornerstone Plumbing truck was the "mixing vat."

All of the parents and scouts involved should be very proud of winning the competition. I’m almost sorry that it will be the last Cub Scout Christmas parade float that I help build (mostly playing gofer).

Inside the "Candy Tron 2000." Not exactly comfortable accommodations for the two dads controlling the fire, smoke, confetti, and candy "production."

I can’t wait to see next year’s float!
