Dean Kaufert is right

State Rep. Dean Kaufert is right:

Representative Dean Kaufert sent the following letter to Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch. In the letter, Kaufert asks that DOA enforce Administrative code rule 2.07 which prohibits the display of political signs on the doors and windows of state buildings, including the capitol.

“The capitol is a place of history and business that should be respected,” said Kaufert. “Elected officials, regardless of party, should not be given a pass to tape political signs and slogans to the doors and windows that are paid for by Wisconsin taxpayers.”

The last six months has turned the Capitol into a frat house. Time for the state legislators to show the building respect again.
