Do Democrats love whistle blowers?
Earlier this week, Sean Hannity called the ObamaCare hotline that was touted by President Obama after rampant problems with Healthcare.gov. In the refreshingly honest discussion, Earline Davis conceded she hadn’t gotten any calls from anyone who “really liked” the system.
Well, Davis has now been fired from her $11.39 an hour job. She told Hannity on Thursday that the morning after the phone call, she was escorted up to HR and informed that she had violated company policy by talking to the media. She said she was never informed about that policy during her five weeks on the job.
Sean called in to Fox and Friends this morning, expressing disgust at what has happened and explaining his initiative to raise money for Davis and find her a new job. He already announced that he would pay her $26,000 yearly salary.
“She did nothing wrong. There’s no reason she should have been fired,” he said, adding that he’s gotten a “heartwarming response” from hundreds of people offering to help Davis.
So we can disregard the whole “speak truth to power” myth of the left.
