Do you really want Jon Erpenbach in the state senate?
People complain that they are not enough good candidates running for public office. When one comes along, we should pay attention. Kurt Schlicht is running for State Senate in the 27th district against Jon Erpenbach. Most years this would be a long shot, but 2010 is one of those rare years that produce unexpected victories by good candidates. Schlicht has a real chance of sending a message to Madison Democrats by winning a race right in their face. (Even better, he would be Russ Feingold’s State Senator.)
There will be a meet and greet with the candidate Monday night at the Esquire Club in Madison, 1025 North Sherman Avenue, starting at 5:30 PM. (Contributions gladly accepted.)
