This sounds every bit as dreary as the old “Blogger Summit.” Similar cast of characters, with a wee bit more star power.

I wonder who’s really behind it, Michael, that shadowy AFP group. Where’s the money coming from? Whose interests?

Unfortunately, I, as an independent ,can’t make it tomorrow. Micheal and John, I don’t think you understand that ordinary citizens from all walks of life really don’t care who throws a tea party. It’s the same message; quit expanding government, quit stealing from my family, quit forcing debt on the next generation. The next generation can’t vote, yet their future is being taxed with no restraint what-so-ever. What kind of representation is that?
It’s a message that resonates with all Americans (except ACORN and liberals). It’s the message that’s going to result in a clean sweep for conservatives next election. Face it, even Jim Doyle’s numbers were hopeless in Milwaukee.

Wait. I thought the AFP Tea Party was a non-partisan event, and that elected Republicans were as much to blame for outrageous spending and growth of government as were elected Democrats. Now you’re telling me they’re just about getting conservatives back into office? By “conservative” you mean Republican, right?
[Reply]
I meant what I said John. And what I said was non-partisan conservatism. There are fiscal liberals in both parties.

So how do we tell the good ones from the bad ones, Steve? You’ve identified some incumbent politicians who shouldn’t be swept out of office, and you’ve developed a metric to determine which candidates are telling the truth about reducing spending and the scope of government? If what you’re saying is true, we can’t rely on simple rules like “Let’s just put Republicans back in office.”

What we can say John is that the political party now in control of America are fascist and socialists bent on bring debt slavery to American children. Imagine, children born into poverty created by the govenrnment elected to bring change.
