I’m looking for the dirty parts

1

I received in the mail my complimentary copy of Terri McCormick’s What Sex Is a Republican? I’m not really sure I want to start this project. The book has Acknowledgements, Foreword, Purpose, About the Author, a Preface, and an Introduction, all before I get to chapter one. After ten chapters, there’s a section called, “Health Care Reform and Templates,” a Conclusion, Appendix I, Appendix II, and a photo gallery. Finally, there are end notes and references (10), but no index.

My favorite sentence so far, “That’s not to say there aren’t politicians inside the Beltway, in statehouses and city halls across the nation, who shouldn’t be in prison.” It’s in the Foreword written by Tony Seton, page xiv.

You’ll be happy to know the book comes with a disclaimer, “Stereotypes of individuals and conversations were used throughout the work. Any similarity to specific conversations with individuals is coincidental.”
