I ran

0

Seventy-five years ago today, Persia changed its name to Iran. Wikipedia tells us the name Iran is a cognate of Aryan, and means “Land of the Aryans”, which may explain the country’s similarities with another country believed to be run by the Aryan race. In the spirit of President Obama’s outreach to the country’s rulers, a little musical tribute to mark the occasion.

I’m sure the ayatollahs will appreciate it.
