Dean Kaufert is right
State Rep. Dean Kaufert is right:
Representative Dean Kaufert sent the following letter to Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch. In the letter, Kaufert asks that DOA enforce Administrative code rule 2.07 which prohibits the display of political signs on the doors and windows of state buildings, including the capitol.
“The capitol is a place of history and business that should be respected,” said Kaufert. “Elected officials, regardless of party, should not be given a pass to tape political signs and slogans to the doors and windows that are paid for by Wisconsin taxpayers.”
The last six months has turned the Capitol into a frat house. Time for the state legislators to show the building respect again.

I’ve been to the Capitol more than usual for some reason this year, but I must point out that BOTH parties have been posting political signs/photos in their windows….

I’m not disagreeing. Both parties need to take the signs down.

Or you could shift your line of Cafe Press items to include window signs.
Obvious remark here: Those giant letters put together on office materials made by in-office printers?
Our tax dollars in use…
Frat house, eh?
Like TKE?

Ronald Reagan was a TKE. I know because when I was a student the Campus Democrats tried having a forum in the student union in the concourse area. It didn’t go very well when some people from the crowd started yelling back at some of the Democrats, and the Democrats starting yelling back at the crowd. One of the Democrats said something disparaging about Ronald Reagan, and the TKEs yelled, “Ronald Reagan was a TKE!”
(And before someone starts complaining about campus conservatives, the few College Republicans that were there tried to calm the crowd down and then Sheriff Artison insulted everybody. I turned to the security guy that I was helping and said, “What do you want me to do now?” Not exactly a good day for the Democrats on campus.)
