It’s supposed to be peaceful Saturday
I’ll be making the trip Saturday to see all the hubbub and hoohaw in person. Does anyone know the best way to treat exposure to tear gas?
Here’s the weather forecast from the Weather Underground website (I’m trying to be broadminded):
Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 30s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the east in the afternoon.
As I listen to the chimes at midnight*, my hope is that the sun shines brightly on the crowds tomorrow, that all are in good cheer, and that not a single regrettable incident occurs. If you see me tomorrow, feel free to say hello. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you there. Well, most of you.
(* Literally. My wind chimes outside are beginning to sound like an out-of-tune xylophone being played by a giant hail storm.)
