Kelin Olson, RIP
In today’s Waukesha Freeman:
May 31, 1966 – Sept. 25, 2013
Kelin Olson, 47, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. He spent most of his life in the Waukesha area, attending St. Mary’s Elementary School andCatholic Memorial High School. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Kelin got his law degree from the University of South Dakota. He opened his own law practice in 2004.
In 1996, Kelin married Anita Miller Olson. They have four children: Jordan Olson, Kelin Olson Jr., Careg Olson and Kiergun Olson.
Kelin was an avid rugby player who will be fondly remembered by his teammates, both for his friendship and his playing ability. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, watching football, racing, playing cards, and other activities that allowed him to spend time with family and friends.
Kelin was a den leader with Cub Scout Pack 9. An active leader, his home and backyard were the construction sites of awardwinning Christmas Parade floats. But more important, Kelin helped guide young boys to becoming better citizens of their community while making Scouting fun for them.
He was a good friend to have, and a devoted father and husband.
In addition to his wife and children, Kelin is survived by his mother, Patricia F. Olson, and his sisters, Kenna Greenmeier (Mike) and Bryke Kandziora (Bill).
Kelin was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Olson.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Yonke & Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. Reception to follow.
