Love child story completely false. Will Democrats apologize or even retract the story?
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Dan Bice confirms he checked into the Scott Walker “love child” rumor and found it completely false.
This is what he posted on Daily Kos:

I am getting a lot of emails because of this post. Two things: (1) I tracked down and talked to Dr. Gillick’s freshman-year roommate at MU yesterday, and she adamantly denies that Walker is the father of her child. Yes, she got pregnant as a first-year student, but she believes Dr. Gillick is mixing up stories; and (2) I Can Read CCAP has taken a family court suit involving Scott Alan Walker and mixed it up with the governor, Scott Kevin Walker.
And he confirmed on Twitter that he was the author of the comment:
Despite Bice checking into the story and finding it completely false, The Daily Kos still has the original post up, the original source of the rumor has not published any retraction, and Uppity Wisconsin still has their defense of the post up and Jud Lounsbury’s post without any retractions as of 3:00 PM.
They’ll just say anything they can without any sense of decency.
Somebody should ask Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett how he can even pretend he’ll heal the divisions in this state when his allies, including a former aide to Senator Russ Feingold, are spreading libels about Barrett’s opponent hoping to get him elected.
Update! Democratic Underground has sunk into the gutter, too. – JW 4:55 PM
