Make time for 2011 Municipal Chili Cook-Off in Wales

This year the Municipal Chili Cook-Off will be held November 13th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales.

The 3rd Annual Municipal Chili Cook-off on will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Cook-off is open to any municipal employee or elected official. Judging will be done by the public. Come vote for your community, clerk or elected official. There will be chili entries from 6 local communities and 5 different chili categories: Mild, Hot, Vegetarian, Wild Game or White (chicken,
turkey, etc.). Winners will be determined in two categories, individual and overall municipality. Please join us for a day of fun.

Beverages and desserts will be available for purchase.

Admission to the event will be 2 or more nonperishable food items or a cash donation and will allow the person to taste all entries.

If you have any questions regarding the event or want to donate to the food pantry, please contact the Wales Village Hall at 262-968-3968.

Not only is this event a good time with good chili, it’s also a great way to help stock local food pantries serving those that are less fortunate in these hard times. The price of admission is either a cash donation or two donated food items.

Last year’s event was a big success so I hope to see all of you there trying chili of all different kinds.
