Maybe we should get BP to run MMSD

3

Latest update we have is that BP spilled 4.9 million barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. That’s 205,800,000 gallons of oil. BP now says the well is capped and there will be no more leaks.

The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, under the control of MIlwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, spilled 2.1 billion gallons of untreated sewage water into Lake Michigan in one day. Or, to look at it another way, 2,100,000,000 gallons is nearly five times over ten times the amount BP dumped into the Gulf. Unlike the Gulf oil spill, there is no end in sight for the spilling of raw sewage into Lake Michigan.
