McDonalds denies the broader public a Lenten treat

Sad news, my fellow Catholics.  As Lent approaches, McDonalds will not be offering the McLobster nation-wide.

A viral rumor that McDonald’s would soon offer its McLobster roll, available at a handful of East Coast outlets, nationwide, has been shot down.Customers who look for healthy options may need to think twice before they try to order the dish. It is similar to a regular Maine lobster roll but has added calories from Mayonnaise. It is made of 100 percent lobster meat from the Atlantic Ocean and is served on a French roll.

The McLobster comes and goes at restaurants in certain parts of Maine, as well as Canada.

This means we’ll be stuck ordering our lobster during Lent the old-fashioned way.
