Neil Gaiman reads A Christmas Carol

What’s Christmas without A Christmas Carol? In December 2013, author Neil Gaiman read from Charles Dickens’ performance copy at the New York Public Library. This is the copy that Dickens used when he gave public readings of his work.

For those of you who want to read along, I posted the whole story in five parts:

Stave I, Marley’s Ghost
Stave II, The First of Three Spirits
Stave III, The Second of the Three Spirits
Stave IV, The Last of the Spirits
Stave V, The End of It

Wait until director Peter Jackson discovers that Dickens broke his most famous work into five parts. We’ll be treated to the ghosts of Hobbits past until 2027.
