State Representative Dean Kaufert says “he is open to serving in Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle’s administration, though he hasn’t been offered a job” according to the Appleton Post-Crescent.
“I’m not looking to leave the Legislature,” Kaufert said. “(But) if an opportunity arose, I would have to consider it.”
You may recall Kaufert unsuccessfully challenged State Representative Mike Huebsch for Assembly Speaker.
I guess if Kaufert doesn’t get to lead his party, he’ll sell it out.
