The Waukesha Freeman reported this morning Village of Eagle clerk/treasurer Shirley Mealy was arrested for an alleged fourth OWI just prior to a village board meeting she was expected to attend. In North Carolina, a Republican candidate for State Senate withdrew from the race after being involved in an auto accident that severely injured three teenagers. Marc Boudreau was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, three felony counts of causing serious personal injury, and felony hit-and-run. Print this entry
