The myth of crossover voting

2

Every primary election I hear some story about how cross-over voters are going to decide some election. Fox 6 News looks at the possibility. Former State Senator Mordecai Lee dismisses the possibility.

By the way, if you ever listen to Lee try to analyze a primary election, he often spends a great deal of time discussing the geography of the race. Geography is a big factor in primary election campaigns. A candidate that is already representing a district with a larger population has a built-in advantage over someone who represents a much smaller district. Also, where the votes come from is a factor, too. Just throwing that out there if you’re going to have fun trying to predict the winners on Tuesday.
