Town of Waukesha election tomorrow, begins fight over wells tonight

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting the Town of Waukesha authorized two separate legal challenges to the City of Waukesha digging five shallow wells on the Lathers property.  Just think how some of the communities surrounding the city would react if the city of Waukesha dug even more shallow wells as an attempted solution to its long-term water problems.

Perhaps it will finally sink in with the remaining die-hard Scrima supporters that shallow wells are not a viable option, and those outside of Waukesha pushing shallow wells as a possible solution do not have the city’s best interests at heart.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if this last-ditch effort rescues Robert Tallinger and Steve Smart in tomorrow’s recall election.  I hope not.
