While we’re pointing things out
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist James Causey is pointing the finger at Arizona Governor Jan Brewer for her supposed incivility towards President Barack Obama when she allegedly put a finger in his face during a confrontation on the airport tarmac.
Here’s the uncredited photo:
Causey pointed at the photo and said,
I have yet to hear an apology from Brewer. Get this, after the exchange, she said she felt threatened.
She appeared to be the aggressor. Let me play devil’s advocate for a minute. Imagine if Obama would had been the pointer. I can just imagine how that would have been spun..
Well, let’s open our eyes and see. Tucson radio host and occasional WTMJ-AM fill-in James T Harris, the beautiful man himself, points out this little finger photo:
In the immortal words of Tony Soprano, “Those who want respect, give respect.” Maybe Obama just dislikes people of Indian heritage like Governor Bobby Jindal. Maybe he’s raaacist!
Or maybe it’s just that conversations between politicians tend to get a little heated at times.
Causey adds a little heated rhetoric himself:
Several black comedians have come to Obama’s side, saying that the president is being too nice. One even suggested that had Brewer pointed a finger in his face, it would have been the last finger she would have ever pointed.
In light of the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, you would think that death threats against a woman politician from Arizona would be off limits, or would certainly deserve some criticism from Causey rather than being posted in approval.
Let me point the finger at Causey to say that he needs to apologize to Governor Brewer and his readers.
