With every insurance policy you get orange juice

Jo Egelhoff at the must-read has a look this morning at an insurance reform that actually will increase the number of people able to get health insurance. Florida is considering allowing insurers to offer plans that are exempt from the many state-imposed mandates. These policies will likely cost $150/month or less, making insurance more affordable for those without health insurance.

It will be interesting to see how many of Florida’s 3.8 million people without health insurance will be able to get coverage with this free-market oriented reform.
