Words I may regret, or not


Matthew Hrodey of Milwaukee Magazine’s NewsBuzz quotes me regarding Dick Leinenkugel’s chances of winning the Republican nomination and beating Senator Russ Feingold:

But conservative blogger James Wigderson departs from the naysayers and wonders if Leinenkugel is being underestimated, arguing Westlake and Wall are weak candidates and the unpredictable former secretary of commerce will appeal to independents. “I bet it takes one, maybe two speeches and he becomes the biggest threat to Feingold,” Wigderson writes.

Hey, if Dick Leinenkugel flops, everyone will say they saw it coming and they’ll forget what I wrote. If Leinenkugel somehow pulls it off, I’m a genius and he’ll send me at least a case of beer for my trouble.
