I was interviewed briefly this afternoo by Amy Barrilleaux of WTDY regarding this blog post. The questions centered around Cullen Werwie and why I believed he should be fired. I’ll post a link if it becomes available. I was in the car and not expecting to be interviewed today, so I didn’t take notes and I don’t have a recording. However, the questions were predictable. Very roughly some of what was asked and answered is below:
Why are you the only one on the right calling for Werwie to be fired? I don’t know. I don’t worry about what other people are writing.
Did you get any “push back” for what you wrote? I don’t get “push back.” And I’ve been critical of the governor before. Most of the push back I get is from the Left when I praise conservatives.
Is it a witch hunt? To a certain extent it is…
Do you believe anyone connected to the scandal should be fired? I’m not prepared to go that far…
It’s almost as if they expected me to suddenly announce a Road to Damascus conversion to liberalism, or that I’m going to talk of snipers on rooftops trying to assassinate me.
I BELIEVE! [blam!]
Between fumbling through my answers and not giving them what they wanted, it was probably disappointing. So if they do run it with their news and you happen to catch it, let me know what you think.
