Barrett’s paper pushing plan to solve crime

I think Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett knows the Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn, but it’s hard to tell if the two of them talk to each other. As I explain over at RightWisconsin, Barrett just asked the feds to share information regarding failed background checks, but Flynn told Congress two years ago he wouldn’t waste the resources to pursue that information.

Flynn interrupted the senator to say, “It doesn’t matter. It’s a paper thing. I want to stop 76,000 – I want to finish the answer – I want to stop 76,000 people from buying guns illegally. That’s what a background check does. You think we’re going to do paperwork prosecutions, you’re wrong.”
