Cruz campaign HQ coming to Waukesha

Given the importance of the WOW counties (Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington) in any Republican primary, it’s not surprising that the presidential campaign of Senator Ted Cruz is opening a campaign headquarters in Waukesha. Nor is the location surprising: 1701 Pearl Street, next to the county party headquarters location. Winning big in the WOW counties is critical for the Cruz campaign to defeat Donald Trump in Wisconsin on April 5th.

The office is opening with an appearance by Heidi Cruz at 10:30 AM tomorrow. The event is free.

The nearby Cousins Subs is about to do a lot of business. By the way, Cruz people, the location is within the delivery area of Rochester Deli. They have a fish fry and they cater, too.

Also, the Clarke Hotel has a nice restaurant with an Irish theme. (Shepherd’s Pie, fish fry, reuben rolls.) La Estacion has great Mexican food and a Sunday brunch. I recommend Pat’s Ribs for, well, ribs of course. There’s great Chinese take-out at Golden Gate. Dady-Oh’s is a Waukesha classic. I like the coffee over at Mama D’s and the Lovely Doreen swears by the oatmeal. I’m actually partial to Murph’s for burgers and custard. And if there’s a need for smoke-filled room, Nice Ash in downtown Waukesha is the area cigar bar.

Did I forget anything?

Update! D’oh! How could I forget getting a ponza at Jimmy’s Grotto?
