Politics shaken, not stirred
Or at least one. Waukesha mayoral candidate Jeff Scrima is scheduled to be on Midday with Charlie Sykes on WTMJ-AM in the 9:00 hour of the program.

[…] Dumbell, Editor In Chief Nothing new here. I’m still not knowingly voting for a Democrat. Wigderson says that Jeff Scrima will be on Charlie Sykes’ show […]
Jeff Political affiliation:
I am an independent, and never have been a member of the democratic or republican party. I’m quite frankly disappointed with both parties, as they seem to spend more time fighting each other than helping people.
I am a conservative. (attacking on how Mayor Nelson ran on non-partisan affiliation.)
Fair is fair.
I am with you. He said what he said.
You are actually being kind not to call out all other goofy things he said and not admit.
You are exercising the kind of selective hearing that Wiggy often does.
Jeff wrote that he is not a member of either party and is disappointed in both. Today he said that he is a conservative.
Certainly democrats are not conservative so that leaves The Republican Party. I am also conservative in my approach to government but, like Jeff, am not a member of The Republican Party. Being conservative and being a member of The Republican Party can be mutually exclusive. Sorry, but no story here.
Liberal Larry, on the other hand, is a card carrying Obama, Diamond Jim Doyle, Tom Barrett,Gwen Moore, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Dave Obey, etc. etc. etc. Democrat. He campaigned last time with the intent of being non-partisan but, like his hero Obama, conveniently forgot that pledge and has served as the most divisive and partisan mayor in Waukesha history. That fact should not be lost on local rhino columnists and bloggers.

Divisive and partisan based on what? So he’s an Obama fanboy, and Obama has turned out to be worse than anyone could have expected (although many can put forth a hearty “told ya so”). Larry’s record as mayor, taken as a whole, has not been that bad. It could have been much worse. Based on what Srima has said (and, more importantly, not said) in the campaign, he has the potential to be a disaster.

“Dude” – I believe you mean RINO, rather than rhino, don’t you?
dude Reply:March 29th, 2010 at 8:19 pm
your question is for badgertom. Republican In Name Only. Correct?
badgertom Reply:March 30th, 2010 at 7:33 pm
Upon further review it should indeed be RINO. Thank you for catching that. I have not thought much about a RINO in Waukesha County recently. That is until this mayoral campaign with the payback to Nelson by Taylor I for bailing WSB out of the YWCA mortgage and the actions/words of the author of this blog.

I think the moment I endorse snowplowing the bike paths, you can call me a RINO.
I can only say Scrima is “Conservative” by default. I left the Carroll debate thinking about his environmental pledge of recycling everything and plowing the bike path like Madison does.
(Did Carroll U. have his comments on tape?) We need some Youtube action here to settle this once for all.
Blame some poor college student for missing a Mayoral debate. Nice.
I would suggest his campaign slogan to be It’s a rather good battle cry so far.
Are you voting for the man or against his opponent?
the “battle cry” was omitted in the sentence. It said I am not Larry and I own a tie.
