Mathias declares for school board, incriminating blog posts to follow

0

Mike Mathias, sometime liberal blogger and friend of this blog, is running for school board against Charlene Hardin in Milwaukee.

Three candidates filed to run against Charlene Hardin, a 12-year member of the board. In addition to Hardin, the candidates are Gloria Gaston, a substitute teacher in MPS; Michael Mathias, who works in the development office of the Medical College of Wisconsin; and Annie Woodward, a retired county employee. The four are seeking to represent a district that includes much of the north side.

I admit I don’t know anything about the other candidates, but I can at least attest that Mike thought long and hard about whether he wanted to enter that snakepit, and whether he could make a difference.

Good luck to Mike in his campaign.
