Recall Wirch effort has enough signatures, getting more

State Senator Robert Wirch (D-Kenosha), one of the Democratic Senators who fled the state to avoid voting on the budget repair bill, may soon be facing a recall election. The group organized to recall Wirch announced on Facebook they have enough signatures, and are collecting more to reach a goal of 18,000.

Wirch is one of three Democrats the Republicans have a reasonable chance of defeating. The other two are Jim Holperin (D-Conover) and Dave Hansen (D-Green Bay).

Democrats have filed enough signatures against Senator Dan Kapanke (R-La Crosse), and Senator Randy Hopper (R-Fond Du Lac) is likely in serious trouble given the revelations regarding his personal life.
