State Democratic Convention Official Car Bingo
All you have to do is go through the parking lot at the site of the convention and look at the license plates of any official vehicle belonging to any unit of government in Wisconsin other than a local police or sheriff vehicle. That means any state vehicle or any vehicle belonging to a local unit of government are eligible to be used for your bingo card. Reading the license plate from left to right, look for the first letter and mark that letter in the bingo square on your card. Then write the complete license plate number on your bingo card for reference later (during the open records request phase).
When you get five letters in the same row or column, or five letters diagonally, you win! In the event of a tie, add up the point value for each of the letters based upon the number assigned to the row and the column. For example, the letter Z is worth 17 points. Whoever has the most points wins the tie-breaker.
Super Winner: If you get a picture of State Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager driving a state car to the convention, tape it to your score card. No need to scour the parking lots. You are the automatic winner unless someone has a….
All-Time Official Car Bingo Master: A picture of State Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager driving her state car drunk at the state convention. Take that picture and you will be the All-Time official car bingo master. (However, automatic disqualification if it turns out you were the one buying her drinks.)
Final phase: So you have these cars listed on your sheet. What do you do with them? File an open records request with the appropriate governing body to see who the car belongs to, and then e-mail me the results.
Have fun, and be safe!
