Archbishop Dolan coming

Archbishop Timothy Dolan will be coming to celebrate Mass at Holy Hill on April 28th to celebrate his elevation to Cardinal. From the Milwaukee Archdiocese website:

Cardinal-designate Timothy M. Dolan will return to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for a Mass of Thanksgiving in honor of his elevation to the College of Cardinals on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at the Basilica of Holy Hill, 1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus. This will be his first visit back to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee after his elevation to cardinal in February in Rome. Mass will be held in the upper church with a reception to follow.

“It is only right that those of us in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee celebrate Cardinal-designate Dolan’s elevation to the College of Cardinals,” said Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki. “As someone privileged to be called one of his many friends, I am truly grateful for the many blessings he has brought to the Church, and cannot wait to welcome him back to our archdiocese.”

No tickets are required to attend the Mass, as seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional seating will also be offered in the lower church, with live video of the Mass. For more information, please contact (414) 769-3435.

While I’m at it, Dolan’s brother, former WISN radio personality Bob Dolan, has a new book out about the Archbishop, “Life Lessons, From My Life with My Brother Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan.”
