McAdams deadline for Marquette is Thursday

5

The long, strange persecution of Professor John McAdams by Marquette University is about to run into another deadline. Over at Watchdog.org, my interview with McAdams about university President Michael Lovell’s demand for an apology and what could happen if Marquette doesn’t respond to McAdams’ letter.

A sixteen-month controversy over academic freedom and political correctness at Marquette University might be coming to a head this week.

In a letter to Marquette University President Michael Lovell, Professor John McAdams rejected Lovell’s demand for an apology for a blog post and also rejected a faculty committee-recommended suspension without pay through the fall semester. McAdams and his attorney requested a response from Marquette University by April 14.
